Working within forensic and custodial environments requires an understanding of both disability and the systems surrounding the person. Our clinicians consider how developmental, cognitive, psychosocial, neurological and physical impairments affect everyday functioning, while recognising that highly structured environments can sometimes mask a person's underlying functional support needs.
